Historic Preservation Committee

The role of the Historic Preservation Committee is to review nominations for local historic landmarks and make recommendations to the City Council. Once a structure is locally landmarked, the Committee also reviews proposals for moving, exterior remodeling and/or demolition. In addition, the Committee conducts historical surveys and assists with public education programs about local history.
