GENERAL CITY POSITIONS
DEPUTY CITY CLERK/ASSISTANT TO CITY MANAGER, MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
The City of Woodland Park is accepting applications for the full-time position of Deputy City Clerk/Assistant to City Manager, Mayor and City Council. This position assists the City Clerk in the administration, coordination and management of operations of the City Clerk’s Office according to and as set forth in the Woodland Park Municipal Code and the Colorado Revised Statutes (duties to include administration and management of records management, liquor licensing, and coordination and administration of elections); also provides administrative assistance and support to the City Manager and the Mayor and City Council. In addition, this position supports the Municipal Court functions as set forth in the Woodland Park Municipal Code and Colorado Municipal Court Rules, and may serve as the Court Clerk in the absence of the Court Clerk. The position reports to the City Clerk.
Salary range is Grade 6, hiring range from $36,277 – $40,467 DOE. If applicant possesses Municipal Clerk certification or steps toward certification, salary range could be up to a Grade 8 $43,896 – $48,966. Position open until filled. POLICE DEPARTMENT POSITIONS
SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
The City of Woodland Park, Colorado is accepting applications to fill the position of a school resource officer. This is contingent upon a city council budget amendment, to allow for the grant funded education position. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
- Must meet requirements for, and achieve Peace Officer Certification as described in Colorado Law and P.O.S.T.
- Must possess, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid Colorado State driver’s license.
- Out of state applicants must complete the Colorado Provisional Certification Packet (www.coloradoattorneygeneral.gov) and obtain their Colorado P.O.S.T. certification within six months from date of approval by Colorado P.O.S.T. as a condition of employment.
Starting salary for School Resource Officer is entry level Police I. Salary is set for the first year at $39,905.
