PUBLIC WORKS – STREETS MAINTENANCE WORKER II The City of Woodland Park Public Works Department is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker II in the Streets Department.
Duties include operating motorized construction equipment, truck driving and manual labor required associated with the construction, repair and maintenance of City streets and drainage infrastructure. Work includes installing and cleaning culverts, snowplowing and sanding, digging and backfilling graves, installing drainage structures and rip rap in channels, installing erosion control Best Management Practices (BMP’s), sweeping asphalt streets, repairing potholes and cracks in asphalt, installing major asphalt patches, ditching, and installing street signs. Must possess basic knowledge of MUTCD standards. Drives trucks of various sizes and weights in the loading, hauling and unloading of various equipment, gravel and sand.
High School diploma or GED is required. Applicant must have a good driving record, posses a Colorado Class B Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Minimum of 2 years related experience required.
This position is a Grade 6 with a hiring salary range of $36,966 – $41,279, DOQ, plus an excellent benefit package.

FIELD SERVICES MAINTENANCE WORKER II The City of Woodland Park Utilities Department is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker II position in the Field Services Division.
Primary duties include water meter installation, meter reading, utility locates, repair of water and wastewater pipelines, high water use investigations, fire hydrant maintenance and repair, sewer cleaning and videoing, water and sewer main taps. Normal workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Periodic on-call duty and emergency work required. Maximum 40 minute emergency response time required.
Must have high school diploma or GED, good health and ability to routinely lift 70 lb., valid driver’s license, Class B CDL or ability to achieve in 6 months, good driving record, and ability to achieve water distribution and wastewater collection certifications within 1 year. Two years of related experience desired.
This position is a Grade 6 with a starting annual salary range of $36,966 – $41,235, DOQ, plus excellent benefit package.

TEEN CENTER SUPPORT STAFF (PART-TIME) The City of Woodland Park Build a Generation is accepting applications for a Teen Center Support Staff position. This part-time position is responsible for assisting in the planning, organizing and implementation of daily operations and activities in a Teen Center community out-of-school-time program. Applicants must enjoy working with people, possess excellent customer service skills, have working knowledge of youth development, and pass a background check. Hours worked will vary, and may include some evenings and weekend days.

WOODLAND PARK POLICE DEPARTMENT – DRUG PREVENTION SPECIALIST, SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER The City of Woodland Park, Colorado is accepting applications to fill the grant funded position of a Drug Prevention Specialist-School Resource Officer. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
-Must meet requirements for and achieve Peace Officer Certification as described in Colorado Law and P.O.S.T.
-Must possess, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid Colorado State driver’s license

Starting salary for School Resource Officer is entry level Police I. Salary is set for the first year at $39,905.
