FIELD SERVICES MAINTENANCE WORKER II   The City of Woodland Park Utilities Department is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker II position in the Field Services Division.
Primary duties include water meter installation, meter reading, utility locates, repair of water and wastewater pipelines, high water use investigations, fire hydrant maintenance and repair, sewer cleaning and videoing, water and sewer main taps.  Normal workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.  Periodic on-call duty and emergency work required.  Maximum 40 minute emergency response time required.
Must have high school diploma or GED, good health and ability to routinely lift 70 lb., valid driver’s license, Class B CDL or ability to achieve in 6 months, good driving record, and ability to achieve water distribution and wastewater collection certifications within 1 year.  Two years of related experience desired.
This position is a Grade 6 with a starting annual salary range of $36,966 – $41,235, DOQ, plus excellent benefit package.

PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/CITY ENGINEER The City of Woodland Park, Colorado is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Director/City Engineer (DPW/CE). This is a department head position that works directly for the City Manager and works cooperatively with other City departments. The Public Works Director/City Engineer is the primary advocate, spokesperson, technical representative, leader, and supervisor for the City’s Public Works Department. The DPW/CE plans and executes infrastructure capital improvements and maintenance to include facilities, multi-modal transportation systems, and drainage systems; maintenance of required vehicles and equipment; reviews and approves application of engineering plans and specifications on submitted project designs; and prepares contract documents, scopes of work, and administers numerous service and construction contracts. The DPW/CE position is challenging, interesting and rewarding. PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR The City of Woodland Park is looking to fill the position of Construction Inspector in our Public Works Department.  This Grade 9 position reports directly to the Director of Public Works/City Engineer and is responsible for inspecting all aspects of public infrastructure improvements.
Knowledge of the following areas is desired: reviewing construction drawings; water, wastewater, and storm water systems; and roadway and sidewalk construction.  Vertical construction experience is helpful but not required. The ability to work with fellow City employees, designers, contractors, and developers is critical. The successful candidate must be able to maintain construction logs and other required paperwork.
Hiring salary range is $49,204.00 – $54,944.00 DOQ plus an excellent benefit package.
