WORK POSTPONED DUE TO POTENTIAL OF INCLEMENT WEATHER
Lane Restrictions on US 24 in Woodland Park
Teller COUNTY – UPDATE – Schedule has changed -Colorado Department of Transportation and the City of Woodland Park will be doing repair work at the intersection of US 24 and Center Street beginning at 9am on Monday, February 26. Work is expected to be completed by midnight on February 27. Work in the area will require lane restrictions on US 24 between West Street and Fairview Street. Work was originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 21 through February 22.
Traffic heading westbound will be shifted to the eastbound lanes. There will be one lane of traffic in each direction, in a head-to-head configuration. Slower speeds are advised and motorists will not be permitted to pass in the six-block closure. Traffic will not be able to go southbound on West Street or make left hand turns from US 24 on to Center Street. Businesses will remain open, but street parking will not be available during the brief closure.
Short delays are expected in the area, as repair work is underway. CDOT will be providing traffic control in the workzone.
