Speed Control SignageWhen you visit the welcoming mountain community of Woodland Park, with its scenic streets, beautiful parks, and inviting open spaces, you are enjoying some of the services provided by the Public Works Department.

Responsibilities

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining all City infrastructure and assets including streets, drainage systems, parks, buildings, grounds, and fleets. The Department is also tasked with overseeing the design and construction of all new projects developed by the City.

Structure

The Department is comprised of 18 employees within 5 unique Divisions, all working together to deliver excellent customer service and provide and maintain sustainable infrastructure and recreational facilities for the benefit and enjoyment of our community and visitors.

The Public Works Department consists of the following divisions:

  • Construction Inspection Services
  • Engineering and Administrative Services
  • Facility Maintenance
  • Fleet Maintenance
  • Street Maintenance
