By official Proclamation by Mayor LaBarre, September 30 - October 5, 2023 is officially distinguished as being the 10th Annual Creek Week in Woodland Park, Colorado.
What is Creek Week? Creek Week is an initiative led by the Fountain Creek Watershed District, aiming to bring communities together to foster the health of our local waterways for citizens and wildlife alike. Volunteers dedicate their time and efforts to aiding in preserving our local waterways. Creek Week has grown to become the largest watershed-wide clean-up in the state of Colorado since it was founded in 2014!
How can you help?
The success of Creek Week efforts for the Fountain Creek Watershed District depends on the efforts and contributions of volunteers! Have a group of friends and neighbors looking to pitch in? You can register your group to participate! Not part of a group but interested in joining the efforts? Your participation is welcomed too! There are public groups open to anyone who would like to join, simply register yourself as a Crew Member.
