CREW CHIEF – PARKS, BUILDINGS & GROUNDS   The City of Woodland Park Public Works Department is accepting applications for a full-time Parks, Buildings and Grounds Crew Chief.

Primary duties include managing and supervising of Parks, Buildings and Grounds personnel in daily operations. Performs a variety of administrative, skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and operations of buildings, grounds, parks, open spaces and recreation systems. Assures that assigned areas of responsibility are performed within budget; performs cost control activities; prepares annual budget requests and improves efficiency and effectiveness of operations.  This position also enforces policies, regulation and safety and health standards.

Job requirements include High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications, effective verbal and written communication skills, supervisory and management skills to oversee, lead, and direct the activities of the Parks Building and Grounds crew, heavy equipment operator experience and ability to lift/move up to 70 lbs. Maximum 40 minute for periodic on-call and emergency response time. Applicant must have a good driving record & ability to acquire a herbicide applicator’s license. This position is a Grade 9 with a hiring salary range of $50,188 – $55,984 DOQ, plus an excellent benefit package.

Dispatcher I, entry level salary is $37,705.
