LEGAL SERVICES – CITY ATTORNEY Serves as in-house City Attorney providing legal counsel to the City Council, City Manager and all City departments. Under general supervision and with minimum guidance, the incumbent provides legal advice, reviews contracts and documents, drafts contracts and ordinances, and represents the City before various bodies to include court.
Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate degree, five years’ experience as a city attorney or closely related experience, and a licensure to practice law in the State of Colorado. Qualified applicants will possess knowledge of current court rulings, legal trends, budgetary principles, managerial principles, and City rules and regulations. Must be able to obtain the following ICS Certifications: IS-100 & IS 700 within 12 months of employment.
Annual salary: $88,458-$132,687, DOQ, plus an excellent benefits package.

MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE – PART-TIME The City of Woodland Park is accepting applications for a part-time Municipal Court Judge. The part-time Municipal Court Judge will be expected to fill in for the presiding Municipal Court Judge when the presiding judge is absent, disqualified or otherwise unable to act in any matter or case. Prior municipal court experience is highly desirable.
Qualified applicants must possess a license to practice law in the State of Colorado and be a qualified elector of the State of Colorado. A valid driver’s license and a background check will be required. Salary will be determined based on the qualifications of the person appointed by city council. This is a non-benefited position.

PARKS AND RECREATION – SPORTS SITE SUPERVISOR The City of Woodland Park Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for the Sports Site Supervisor position. This permanent part-time position is responsible for the day to day supervision of gymnasiums, fields and other facilities associated with youth and adult sports.

WOODLAND AQUATIC CENTER – LIFEGUARD The City of Woodland Park is accepting applications for part-time Lifeguards for the Woodland Aquatic Center. This position is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of all patrons in the Woodland Aquatic Center.
Applicants must be available to work up to 20-25 hours per week and the ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training with CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required. Water Park Certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.

MAINTENANCE WORKER II – FIELD SERVICES The City of Woodland Park Utilities Department is accepting applications for a full-time Maintenance Worker II position in the Field Services Division.
Primary duties include water meter installation, meter reading, utility locates, repair of water and wastewater pipelines, high water use investigations, fire hydrant maintenance and repair, sewer cleaning and videoing, water and sewer main taps. Normal workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Periodic on-call duty and emergency work required. Maximum 40 minute emergency response time required.
Must have high school diploma or GED, good health and ability to routinely lift 70 lb, valid driver’s license, Class B CDL or ability to achieve in 6 months, good driving record, and ability to achieve water distribution and wastewater collection certifications within 1 year. Two years of related experience desired.
This position is a Grade 6 with a hiring salary range of $37,705 – $42,060, DOQ, plus excellent benefit package.
