Commander Jim Holloran

Commander Halloran was promoted to Patrol Commander in August of 2015. The Patrol Section is made up of the uniformed officers and the school resource officers. He began his carreer with the Woodland Park Police Department as a reserve officer. He has worked as a Patrol Officer, Community Policing Officer, Domestic Violence Response Team Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Detective Sergeant, and as the Emergency Manager. Commander Halloran earned a Bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University of Ohio.


Commander Chris Adams

Prior to becoming a police officer, Commander Adams served as a combat engineer in the US Army. This time included a deployment in 2003 to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Since becoming a Police Officer, Commander Adams has served as a Patrol Officer, Narcotics Detective, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant and Detective Seargent. Commander Adams has been a TASER Instructor, Below 100 Instructor, Standard Field Sobriety Testing Instructor, Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement Instructor, and Drug Recognition Expert. Commander Adams has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from American Millitary University and is currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program through American Millitary University
