CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
Pursuant to Section 3.5 of the City of Woodland Park Home Rule Charter, public notice is hereby given that letters of interest with qualifications are being requested by the City Council of Woodland Park from City residents interested in filling a vacated Council seat for the remainder of term ending April, 2020 at which time the seat will be filled at the City’s Regular Municipal Election. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States for not less than seven years, must be at least 21 years of age, have no felony convictions, and shall be a resident of the City of Woodland Park not less than one year immediately preceding such appointment. The City Council of the City of Woodland Park is accepting applications from persons who are interested in serving as a member on the Keep Woodland Park Beautiful Committee. Interested applicants must meet the requirements for the opening, possess qualifications that are compatible with the Committee’s purpose and authority, and available to meet on the first Monday of each month at 6:00 PM.
